A TRAVEL-SIZED GALLERY AT COLUMBUS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

934 Gallery partnered with the John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) to host a pop-up art gallery within the travel hub’s Terminal B. The goal was to create a comfortable lounge for busy travelers to slow down, discover local artists, and engage with Columbus’ creative community.

We developed a brand identity for the space inspired by airport wayfinding systems and vintage luggage tags as a nod to the transitory nature of the space. This extension of the gallery created a branded touch point for a new audience to learn about 934.

We also helped shape the physical experience: scannable QR codes let travelers purchase and ship art directly from the terminal, making this pop-up gallery not just a visual experience, but an interactive one.

From 2021-2025, the space saw hundreds of daily guests and provided a unique opportunity for local artists to display their work in a location with foot traffic from around the world.

934 Gallery is a non-profit, contemporary art gallery in Columbus, Ohio, showcasing local, national, and international artists. 934 Gallery focuses on bringing a fresh perspective to contemporary art through trailblazing exhibitions, installations, performances, and public art projects.

Since 2021, we have offered our services pro bono to the 100% volunteer-run gallery, currently serving as Marketing Committee Chair (Madison) and Creative Director (Ryan).
