COMiC BOOK BiNDERS

SINGLE ISSUE COMIC STORAGE

graphic design ✦ print design

A selection of case binders holding single issue comic books and art magazines are stacked on a table showing spine designs by graphic designer Ryan at toyhaus studio. one binder sits open displaying its contents, a collection of Super7 magazines.

The standard in single-issue comic book storage, the plain white long box, just wasn’t cutting it for us. Hard to access, difficult to keep organized, and a total eyesore to look at – we knew our comic collection deserved something better!

Discovering UniKeep’s case-style binders was a total game-changer for our comic collection. We developed a system of custom-designed spine inserts that not only make it easier to organize single issues, but also made our comic shelves way more visually satisfying. With the easy-access case binders, we’re also much more likely to pick up a book off our shelf now that we don’t have to dig through a long box to start reading.

Beyond comic books, we use these binders to store everything from zines and toy packaging to personal ephemera and recipes… we might be a little binder obsessed.

We believe good design should be shared, so we created a free downloadable template so fellow comic collectors can design their own binder spines to upgrade their shelf game. Long box, who?
