Ice cream legend Jeni Britton (Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams) has started Floura, a new creative culinary venture that makes achieving gut health simple, delicious, AND good for the planet.

We created and executed interim branding and a refreshed social media strategy for Floura, including market research, competitor analysis, creative direction, photo styling, and copywriting. The team was looking to broaden their audience and lean into their core beliefs around gut health, delicious flavors, consensus science, and taking pleasure seriously. With all of that in mind, we created an updated brand kit with fonts inspired by vintage science text books, colors representative of their whole food ingredients, and graphic shapes inspired by the helpful microbes that contribute to an efficient gut.

The refreshed look incorporates new design elements that complement the existing product packaging and subtly nod to microbiology – with microbe-inspired organic shapes and a vintage science textbook feel.

We art directed a hands-on photoshoot capturing content to introduce Floura’s latest product — Floura bites! Teaser social media posts built excitement and curiosity with the Floura social audience before introducing the new highly-requested bites format.

PAID SOCIAL

Focusing on the bars and their health benefits, this paid ad campaign introduced new customers to Floura as a fruit-forward, prebiotic-rich whole food. The first wave of assets quickly saw an uptick in engagement across the board, with the top performing ads on Instagram holding a 5% CTR.
